These passive temperature sensors use a thermistor as sensor element for an outstanding stability of the temperature characteristics.
They have a negative temperature coefficient of resistance: when the temperature rises, the resistance decreases. The sensor element is within a resin encapsulated stainless steel tube.
Fast time response: 1 sec typical in liquids
Dissipation constant: 0.75 mW/°C typical in still air at 25 °C
Tight tolerance: +/- 0.1 °C from -20 to +60 °C
Min/max temperature exposure for sensor element: -80…+150 °C
